Junior “Learn – Practice – Play” Private Program
Learn the Right Way
Practice with a Purpose
Play better using what you’ve Learned
The Academy’s High School and Middle School “Learn, Practice and Play” Program offers the more serious junior golfers invaluable instruction, personal practice drills, and on-course playing experience with a skilled PGA Professional.
Many times junior golfers engage in a period of self-guided practice. Unfortunately, most junior golfers lack the time management skills, the knowledge of what to practice and the dedication to practice as much as they truly need to excel at this sport. PGA Professionals Wayne A. Oien and Brian Nitschke provide a proven structured training regimen for proper mechanics in putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and the full swing along with personal excellence, goal setting, team building character pillars, practice techniques and drills, playing mindset, and on-course play management.
The players will be assessed and re-assessed on the golf course after each 3-week instructional series in order to pinpoint the parts of their game that need the most improvement. This will accelerate their learning curves and scoring abilities.
Many participants who have taken advantage of this program in the past have gone on to secure spots on their Junior Varsity and Varsity golf teams at their respective public and private High Schools and some even went on to play Division I through Division III College Golf on full scholarships.
